DFI Week 4 : Reflections
I really enjoyed listening to Dorothy this week and her explanations around the pedagogy behind the create task and the real value it has for learners and that it does not always have to be digital but can be physical, arts and drama etc. It was real food for thought reflecting on 60 years ago how much more hands on doing there was within the students day. How can I include more of this for my learners?
This week learning to add the google slide to my own blog posts is valuable. I also learnt with alot of support from Maria how to add a background color to my blog and how to add a photo and text to the sidebar.
I still need support to practise splitting the screen so on my DFI days.
This would help me to be able to practise and have a play with the new learning while I can what Maria is sharing the screen. Next weeks goal!
New learning is always a challenge, but having the time to practice and play is wonderful. I look forward to seeing the skills you are learning being used in you class blogs and in across school presentations. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHello Trish,
ReplyDeleteI hope you have managed to practice that screen splitting to make it easier for you. Your blog is looking good. Adding the world map to the gadget will give an image to show where people are from who are visiting your blog.
